  • 1. POWER ANIMAL AMERICAN LAGER - Unleash your inner Power Animal with this thirst-quenching lager. Crisp and refreshing, with a delicate malty sweetness balanced by MI-grown Triumph and Saaz hops. Pairs well with sunshine, Smash Burgers, and the freedom of the open trail. Abv 4.8%

  • 2. RILEY’S STRAWBERRY RHUBARB SOUR- Brewed with a prodigious amount of strawberries and rhubarb. This sour ale is a super fruity zinger. Subtle notes of strawberry and lightly toasted pie crust on the nose. Starts with an acidic jolt to the tongue that leads to sweet strawberry goodness. Abv 6.0%

  • 3. NEAHTAWANTA WATERMELON GOSE - Light-bodied and refreshing gose-style tart ale. Brewed with Huell Melon Hops, watermelon juice, Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, and a hint of Coriander. Abv 4.8%

  • 4. INTERMINGLING KOLSCH - A collaboration with Silver Spruce Brewing! Herbal aromas with fresh bread and honey flavors from MI LOCAL Tettnanger Hops and German malts. Abv 5.2%

  • 5. HEADWATERS IPA - Piney and citrusy. Moderate bitterness. Notes of candied Orange and sweet bread. Centennial and Simcoe hops. Abv 6.5%

  • 6. SAMURAI SQUIRREL SCHWARZBIER - Big bready aroma emanates from this light-bodied dark lager. The malty sweetness is nicely balanced by a hoppy bite. Dark roastiness, and a crisp lager finish. Abv 4.8%

  • 7. TINGLING BITS IIPA– A bouquet of pineapple, passion fruit, and grapefruit. Sweet and fruity up front followed by a boozy burn and a surprisingly dry finish. This beer definitely lives up to its name! Abv 9.8%

  • 8. CHADILLAC’S BEARD ZONE HAZY IPA - This Hay IPA is smooth, chewy, and juicy. Intense fruitiness from a trifecta of Galaxy, Citra, and Mosaic hops. Notes of zesty tangerine, ripe mango and a hint of white grape. You are now entering…The Beard Zone! Abv 6.7%

  • 9. DEVIL’S DIVE DOPPELBOCK - An amber German lager infused with toasted oak. Rich, creamy, and complex. An earthy beer with hints of bread, hazelnut, caramel, and a touch of vanilla thanks to the toasted oak. Fruit flavors like fig and dark cherry arise as this beer warms up in your glass. Abv 8.2% 13oz Tulip $8

  • 10. DICKERY DOCK PALE ALE - A crisp pale ale brewed with a blend of British and MI malts, Simcoe and El Dorado hops. Subtle notes of pineapple and black currant and a snappy bitter finish. Abv 4.5%

  • 11. POWERLINE PORTER - Bold coffee aroma, notes of dark chocolate and granola. Full-bodied and malty with a dry finish. Made with Mexican Vista Hermosa coffee roasted locally by Stockist Coffee Co. Abv 6.5%

  • 12. TIGHT AND LIGHT HARD JUICE - Hard seltzer fermented with 100% Michigan beet sugar. Made with blueberry juice and peach flavoring. Sweet, tart, juicy, and refreshing. Abv 5.0%

OLD ORCHARD WHITE - A collaboration with our friends from Left Foot Charley, this wine blends Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc grapes for a just sweet enough taste. Full bodied, with fruity notes and a touch of oak. Abv 13.0%

COPPER RIDGE RED - A collaboration with our friends from Left Foot Charley, this wine features Blaufrankisch grapes grown on Old Mission Peninsula. Smooth and mellow with notes of black cherry. Abv 12.0%

MOTHER LOVIN’ CIDER - McIntosh blend made with Northern Michigan apples in collaboration with Tandem Ciders. Crisp and just sweet enough with 4.0% residual sugar. Abv 4.5%

Brent Faber, Owner & Founder

Introducing Brent, the visionary behind Stone Hound Brewing Company! With a diverse background and a passion for adventure, Brent brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to our team.

Brent's journey began with a Bachelor's in Business Management, coupled with a minor in Economics from Adrian College. He honed his leadership prowess in various management roles within a large regional retailer before embarking on a new path. Fueling a lifelong aspiration, Brent pursued his Juris Doctorate at The University of Toledo College of Law, becoming a member of the State Bar of Michigan in 2010.

However, drawn by a love for community and a desire to immerse himself in Traverse City's vibrant culture, Brent made a bold career pivot towards the service industry. Starting as a barista at Cuppa Joe, he soon found his true calling within the craft beer world. For over a decade, Brent has been an integral part of the local craft beer scene, serving as both bartender and bar manager, where he cultivated his expertise and passion for providing an exceptional brewery experience.

Beyond the taps and bar stools, Brent is an avid outdoor enthusiast. You'll often find him cycling through scenic trails, indulging in cross-country skiing adventures, or hitting the open road on his motorcycle. His curiosity for the world extends to rock hunting and hiking with his four-legged friends, always seeking new experiences and connections with nature.

When he's not working or exploring the great outdoors, Brent can be found conducting "research" at other local breweries, enriching his knowledge and appreciation for the craft. With his dynamic spirit and dedication to excellence, Brent adds a dash of excitement to every aspect of Stone Hound Brewing Company. Chris Cargill, Head Brewer

Meet Chris Cargill, the mastermind behind the remarkable brews at Stone Hound Brewing Company. Hailing from Michigan, Chris's journey to the brewing industry was a diverse one, spanning fields from psychology research to digital marketing before discovering his true passion.

In 2013, Chris found himself experimenting with homebrewing as a hobby, igniting a newfound love for the craft. His dedication led him to seize an opportunity in packaging at Short’s Brewing Company in 2015. Within a remarkably short time, Chris's talent and drive propelled him to the position of production brewer, where he honed his skills in the art of crafting exceptional beer.

Chris's journey intersected with Brent's vision for Stone Hound Brewing Company, where he found the perfect canvas to unleash his creativity and expertise. As Head Brewer, Chris relishes the opportunity to push boundaries, experiment with innovative flavors, and bring joy to those who savor his creations.

Beyond the brewhouse, Chris is a man of action, embracing the outdoor wonders of Northern Michigan with gusto. Whether he's pounding the pavement on a run, cruising the trails on his bike, pitching a tent for a camping adventure, or seeking the perfect spot to hang his hammock, Chris finds solace and inspiration in nature's embrace.

Head Chef, Sean Tower, a seasoned culinary virtuoso with over two decades of experience in the industry.

Sean's journey in the culinary world began over twenty years ago, fueled by a passion for creating exceptional flavors and unforgettable dining experiences. His expertise spans a wide range of cuisines, techniques, and culinary styles, making him a versatile and dynamic force in our kitchen.

Beyond his culinary talents, Sean is also an avid cyclist, finding inspiration and rejuvenation on the open road. This passion for cycling mirrors his approach to cooking—focused, disciplined, and always striving for new heights of excellence.
